Frequently Asked Questions
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE IS DAVID SCHEDULED?
We try to schedule services approximately six months to a year
in advance. We join with those with whom we're ministering to pray for the services and the area of the country (or world)
in which the event is scheduled. Concerts are often scheduled geographically in order to steward time and resources wisely.
We keep requests for services on file and schedule them when we can be in that area.
WHAT IF OUR CHURCH IS A "SMALL" CHURCH?
David tries very hard to work with any pastor or church leader who calls,
believing that it is the Lord who is opening the doors and that "the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord."
HOW CAN WE HELP ENSURE THAT THE
CONCERT IS SUCCESSFUL?
Our office
is happy to help provide tools to ensure that the concert is a success. We can send you:
- Posters
- Bulletin inserts for the church at which concert is scheduled
- Bulletin inserts for area churches (provided the concert doesn't
conflict with their regularly scheduled services!)
- Postcards with Public Service Announcements for local radio stations
Radio ads or print ads can also be purchased and we'll provide information
and/or CD's for that.
WHAT KIND OF HONORARIUM IS ASKED OF
THE HOST CHURCH?
Obviously, there is a budget
that should be met in order to continue the work of the ministry, however, we will work with pastors, music directora or other
contact person to enable David to minister with your church.
WHAT OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES ARE INVOLVED
FOR THE HOST CHURCH?
It is always appreciated
if there are volunteers to help David set up and take down his equipment and a product table. Sometimes volunteers are
needed to work at the product table. Instructions are provided for those volunteers.
